I have been playibg quite a bit of SAGA recently and have been really enjoying it.
I got a little fed up with the Welsh. I love the idea of them but far too many abilities require a 6 result to be able to do cool guy things - and if you cannot do cool guy things for the bards to sing about, what is the point!
I love using the Rus Princes though; Druzhina are awesome.
I feel like I actually have options on my turn, rather than half my board being shut off because I never roll 3 6s on 6 dice...
Been mostly playing Anglo-Danes, but might be playing Normans or Franks soon, for some variety.
And because my regular opponent wants some cavalry of his own...
